Go to Interlaken-Ost. Fastest routes are ~2:15 h from Zurich-Airport (ZRH) and ~3:00 h from Geneva-Airport (GVA). Options for your ticket to Interlaken-Ost and back:

Ticket machine

Buy your two-way ticket to Interlaken-Ost at Zurich or Geneva airport at a red ticket machine or at the ticket counter. Pay with your credit card.

• Price from Zurich via Bern: 140.– per adult (Duration 2:10–2:30 h, one or two transfers, depending on departure time)
• Price from Zurich via Luzern: CHF 100.— per adult (Duration 3:08 h, one transfer)

Supersaver ticket

Buy a external pagesupersaver ticketcall_made online and print at home. Important note about validity: The supersaver ticket is only valid for the selected date of travel and the selected public transport connection (train connection). The ticket might expire in case your plane’s arrival is delayed.  Supersaver tickets are less expensive but less flexible and are generally for longer routes.

Tip

Luzern-Interlaken-Express

We recommend that travelers from Zurich airport take the route through Luzern (external pageLuzern–Interlaken Expresscall_made) in at least one direction because of the spectacular views along this route. However, the trip between Bern and Interlaken along several lakes is also very beautiful. The Swiss Transfer Ticket covers both connections. Luggage service
